There is a gang of people with the same interest in tracking that meet every two Sundays. Everybody got their own gear, and different kinds of breeds. Today I joined Mikael with Manuel, and Johanna with Leon and Kia. Manuel was going for an "open class" track for the second time in his life, and it went fine. Kia and Leon had very good results on their tracks. I believe the two of them are ready for much harder tracks now.
Next time I will try to get some pictures of the other dogs. It is nice showing Akitas that are so well trained as Johannas' are in behaving well (Manuel isn't that bad either) and I know she puts a lot of time and energy on them. It was very humid and we all became really cold while we were waiting those hours for Leon's and Kia's track to be "ready". Mikael prepared Manuel's track the day before. But after having walked the track for Kia and Leon four times (making it, following Leon, putting the hoof back at the very end, following Kia) I was warm again. Manuel is always excited before tracking, and then he is always very happy after tracking and wants to play.
